Installation Coordinator Summary

CraneWerks is a fast-growing overhead crane manufacturer in Morristown, Indiana. We’re looking for a motivated individual to perform the functions of Installation Coordinator.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Unpacks, examines and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with production manager to rectify damages and shortages (or delegates responsibility to shop assistant)

Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the production manager

Coordinates with installation crews and monitors job progress also communicates with installer who are on site to ensure that things go according to plan

Ensures lift equipment is rented and off rented for installation jobs

Composes installation packets and reviews when crews return

Holds pre-installation meetings with installation crews

Understands equipment needs and rents equipment as needed (special equipment include: carry decks, telehandlers, etc.)

Puts system manuals together and ensures all installation material and equipment is loaded onto trucks

Composes list of skid material for systems and delegates as needed

Verifies all material is loaded for system shipments (collectors, radios, manuals, touch up paint, etc.)

Become familiar with all SOPs related to your department

Qualifications

Construction Experience: 2 years (Preferred)

Lift Equipment: 2 years (Preferred)

Scheduling: 2 years (Preferred)

Education and/or Experience

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Construction Experience: 2 years (Preferred)

Physical Requirements

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
