We are seeking Industrial Crane Maintenance Technicians with experience in industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance.
Maintenance Technician Role Description
What does it mean to be a Maintenance Technician at CraneWerks?
As an Industrial Crane Maintenance Technician at CraneWerks, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs on overhead cranes and related lifting equipment. Your role will also involve lead prospecting for the service area, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, and completing all appropriate documentation. You will supervise personnel to ensure safe, timely, and quality completion of work, perform inspections to OSHA/ANSI criteria, troubleshoot electrical circuits, and assemble and repair complex machinery.
Qualifications of a Maintenance Technician
- Maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)
- 3 to 5 years of industrial electrical/mechanical experience
- Extensive electrical and mechanical background
- Experienced with troubleshooting 480v 3 phase motor control systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work at heights
- Good driving record
- Computer proficiency
Education and/or Experience
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Programmable Logic Controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at heights
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for long periods of time
