SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Travel to customer locations to client meetings and assist with the determination of project requirements
- Estimate projects
- Work with customers, design, and engineering during the planning phase of the projects.
- Assist in determining/purchasing the correct components
- Monitor projects, work hours, budgets, and expenditures
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team
- Ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Maintain Tracking Logs
- Track & manage contemplated change notices and change orders
- Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others
- Keep the Production Manager and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations
- Participate in the installation process, start-up projects onsite, assist as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Ability to travel frequently
- Effective communication skills including verbal and written skills
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing team-based
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
Preferred
- Prior hands-on experience in Industrial Material Handling (mechanical and/or electrical fabrication or installation)
- Experience in Project or Construction Management
- Experience estimating or managing field service/installation personnel
