SUMMARY
CraneWerks, Inc, a leader in providing parts, service, remanufacture of hoists, inspections, design, manufacture & installation of custom designed material handling systems & lifting devices Morristown, Indiana. Successful candidates will have experience in Industrial mechanical and electrical maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for performing routine inspections, preventative and complex repairs on overhead cranes and related lifting equipment. Other responsibilities of the Industrial Electrical Crane Technician will include:
- Lead Prospecting for service area
- Trouble-shooting equipment malfunctions
- Completing all appropriate documentation
- supervise personnel to ensure safe, timely, and quality completion of work
- perform inspections to OSHA/ANSI criteria
- troubleshoot electrical circuits
- Assemble and repair complex machinery
QUALIFICATIONS
- Maintenance: 5 years (Preferred)
- 3 to 5 years of industrial electrical / mechanical experience
- extensive electrical and mechanical background
- experienced with troubleshooting 480v 3 phase motor control systems
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work at heights.
- Good driving record
- Computer proficient
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Programmable Logic Controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work at heights.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for long periods of time
