As a Structural Engineer, you will:
- Oversee the structural engineering aspects of crane systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Evaluate lifting fixtures to ensure if they meet current design standards.
- Responsible for engineering, ensuring the quality and integrity of the structural components.
- Assist in quoting by working with salesmen on designs and sizing of runways, helping to determine the most economical way to build a system.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate and compliant structural designs.
- Evaluate existing building structures to determine the viability of installing new crane systems and design structural reinforcement if necessary.
- Generate concept drawings with general dimensions.
- Some site visits are required, mostly local travel.
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with structural experience. (Preferred)
- Experience in structural engineering, with a focus on industrial applications. (Required)
- Structural Engineering license (Required)
