Driving Change, One Golf Classic at a Time

At CraneWerks, we believe supporting our communities means showing up—on and off the clock. Through our CraneWerks Cares program, we’re proud to stand behind causes that matter, offering meaningful support to over 30 organizations close to our hearts. One of those organizations is Buddies Helping Buddies, a nonprofit doing powerful work to help individuals and families impacted by addiction and suicide risk, now through their Buddies On the Green Golf Classic. Their mission is rooted in compassion, healing, and hope—and we’re honored to help amplify it.

Mark Your Calendars for Buddies on the Green Golf Classic

Coming up on Thursday, August 21, Buddies Helping Buddies is hosting their annual Buddies on the Green: Golf Classic at Blue Bear Golf Club. It’s more than just a day on the course—it’s a chance to chip in (literally and figuratively) for a cause that saves lives. Proceeds from the event go directly to local recovery houses and support the organization’s mission to break the stigma surrounding mental health and create safe spaces for healing and transformation.

Whether you’re a scratch golfer or just out there for the swing and sunshine, there’s a way to get involved:

Single Player: $85
Team of Four: $250
Hole Sponsor: $300
Hole + Team Sponsor: $350
Event Sponsor: $1,000
Food, Beverage, or Beer Sponsor: $125

Why We Show Up for Buddies On the Green

CraneWerks supported Buddies Helping Buddies earlier this year at their Strikes for a Cause bowling event—a night that was more than fun and fundraising. It was a powerful reminder that community support is a lifeline, and small actions (like showing up, donating, or simply listening) can create massive ripple effects.
