Random Acts of Kindness Day

Spreading Kindness in Our Community

Random Acts of Kindness Day is coming up on February 17, and CraneWerks is proud to take part in this meaningful celebration. This day is a reminder that small thoughtful gestures can make a big impact.

To kick things off on Friday, February 13, the CraneWerks crew delivered Valentine’s Day trees to Morristown Manor. This is a local nursing home in Morristown that we have partnered with many times before. These Valentine trees were handmade crafts created by CraneWerks employees and their families, who decorated branches with heart cutouts before delivering them to residents at Morristown Manor.

Our Connection With Morristown Manor

Morristown Manor is a nursing home that’s part of the heart of our town. They provide rehabilitation, long-term care, memory support, and a warm, home-like environment for residents in Morristown and the surrounding communities.

From therapy services to dementia care, their team works to help residents reclaim independence and return to the lives they love. Their commitment to compassion aligns closely with our own values of service and integrity. This isn’t the first time CraneWerks has partnered with them.

CraneWerks Cares About Kindness

At CraneWerks, we’re about more than cranes and hoists — we’re about people. Because of that, CraneWerks Cares was created to highlight our ongoing support for the organizations that matter most to our crew and our community. That commitment reflects the same spirit of kindness we bring to our work every day. Today, that outreach includes sponsorships and donations to more than 30 local groups who are making a real difference.

Lucys for Lynn: Bringing Kindness Through Connection

Another meaningful partnership CraneWerks supports is Lucys for Lynn — a volunteer-driven effort co-founded by our president, Ashley Larochelle, and CEO, Mark Thomas. Their mission is inspired by their late mother and wife, Lynn Thomas, who bravely battled Alzheimer’s disease.

Lucys for Lynn raises funds to purchase dolls specifically designed for individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia. These dolls aren’t toys, they’re companions that provide comfort, spark memories, and offer a sense of connection for their recipients. The largest deliveries take place during the holiday season, with the last being in partnership with us around Christmas time.
