As an In-Shop Wiring Electrician, you will:
- Assemble electrical components and wire bridge cranes
- Hang panels and festoon systems.
- Wire motor control panels
- Perform wiring inside of control panels on equipment prior to being installed on process modules, and install components, process piping, and instrumentation
- Terminate wires per acceptable industry standards
- Bend, cut, thread, ream and install conduit
Education, Experience, & Skills
- Must be able to read and interpret layout drawings and wiring schematics, and read and interpret point-to-point wiring
- Must be able to recognize electrical symbols and be familiar with NEC, ASME, and OSHA
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude and be familiar with basic hand and power tools
